Mumbai: Ajinkya Rahane and Suresh Raina will be the stars to watch out for when India 'A' take on England XI in the second warm up game at the Brabourne stadium here on Thursday.
Rahane is part of the ODI squad, while Raina will feature only in T20 in the upcoming limited-overs series against England. Rahane who is coming back from injury will lead India 'A' on Thursday.
Apart from Rahane and Raina, the focus will also be on Rishabh Pant, the budding star who has been picked in India T20 squad on the back of some breathtaking performances in the Ranji Trophy. He recently set Mumbai's DY Patil stadium on fire during a Twenty20 Cup and he would be hoping to carry the form.
It will be an opportunity for consistent performers in the Ranji Trophy such as left-arm spinner Shahbaz Nadeem, off-spinner Parvez Rasool, batsman Sheldon Jackson and seamers Vinay Kumar and Ashoke Dinda to make impression.
Youngsters like wicket-keeping batsman Ishan Kishan and all-rounders Vijay Shankar and Deepak Hooda would also hope to make full use of the platform.
England XI warmed up well on Tuesday with a three-wicket win.
