Later, in a short span of time four hours, those offensive products were removed from the Amazon’s catalog with showing an error of ‘page not found’ and it shows that the required products are missing from the items. Sushma Swaraj said about this issue that “Amazon must tender an unconditional apology. They must withdraw all products insulting our national flag immediately,” Sushma Swaraj tweeted, ”If this is not done forthwith, we will not grant Indian Visa to any Amazon official. We will also rescind the Visas issued earlier,” after she came to know about the incident she immediately reacted over that issue and make them apologize. A twitter user brought this issue to Sushma Swaraj’s attention that Amazon Canada was selling the doormats which feature the Indian flag on it. After few hours of her tweet to the higher officials of Amazon, it can be witnessed that the list was removed with an error message on that page.

The External Affairs Minister also instructed the Indian High Commission in Canada to take up the matter with Amazon.
