The high voltage campaigning for elections to three Municipal Corporations of Delhi came to an end today. On the last day, leaders of main contenders BJP, AAP, and Congress held series of public meetings and road shows to woo the voters in their support.
Star campaigners from BJP including Union Ministers Dr Harsh Vardhan, Vijay Goel, J P Nadda, Manoj Tiwari and Shayam Jaju campaigned for BJP candidates in different parts of the city.
Aam Admi Party Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejrwial, senior AAP leaders Manish Sisoda and Sanjay Singh addressed public meetings. While from Congress, Delhi Unit Chief Ajay Maken, MP Raj Babbar and other senior leaders campaigned in favour of party candidates.

Meanwhile, the State Commission is running awareness campaigns for voters. It has planned to deploy 57 thousand police personnel to ensure free and fair polls in the national capital on Sunday.
Over 13 thousand polling booths have been set up out of which over three thousand have been identified as sensitive while around 15 hundred booths are hypersensitive.
