An intermediate first year girl student was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Hyderabad on Tuesday morning, and police suspect it as a 'murder'.
The victim, identified as 17-year-old Chandini Jain, daughter of city-based businessman Kishore Jain, was studying first year Intermediate in a private college in the city. Her family resides at Madinaguda, near Miyapur.
As per the girl's parents, she went out to meet her friends on Saturday evening and didn't return home till night. When they tried to call her at around 9 pm, her mobile phone was switched off. This panicked them, and they approached police.
A kidnap case was booked on Saturday night, and an inquiry was launched. As the search operation was in progress, police received information about a girl's dead body lying at the desolated Ameenpur Hills on the outskirts of the city.
The police recovered the girl's body, which was in a decomposed condition on Tuesday morning. No injuries were found on the victim's body. The place where the girl's body was found is isolated, on the city outskirts.
The police suspect that the girl could not have gone there all by herself and that she could have been killed by whoever took her there, either with her consent or by force. As the body was found in decomposed state, police suspect that she could have been murdered on Saturday night only.
An industrious inquiry has been ordered to nab the culprits as soon as possible.
