Agartala, Nov 14 (UNI) The CPI-M Tripura state secretary Bijan Dhar today alleged that the opposition BJP has been trying to ensure election under Centre's intervention to illegally capture the power.
He alleged that BJP was resorting to large scale violence across the state to make it happen.
Dharâs statement comes a day after the departure of MP delegation that observed that law and order situation of Tripura was deteriorating with every passing day and CPI-M cadres attacks on the opposition supporters for past few months.
Dhar urged the opposition parties to fight with CPI-M politically rather than character assassination, false and baseless charges against the Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and violence.
Denying the allegations of BJP MPs about break down of law and order, political actions of Tripura police and corruption charges against the government and CPI-M leaders, Dhar claimed those are nothing but political conspiracies to unseat the left front government in most undemocratic manner.
