Transport minister's pilot car accident leaves 7 injured
Kolkata, Nov 14 (UNI) West Bengal transport minister Subhendu Adikari's pilot car was today met an accident in East Medinipur injuring 7 occupants, including the driver, a report reaching here said.
The pilot car (police), while escorting the minister on way to Kolkata, met the accident at Nandakumar national highway around 1100. The car first hit a parked truck in the rear and then slammed into a roadside tree near Kandoposara under Chandipur police station limit in East Medinipur.
The injured were admitted to Contai hospital. The minister was coming from Contai.
