Local people whipped him before capture
A seven-year-old young lady was supposedly assaulted by a 50-year-old constable of the Uttar Pradesh Police in Greater Noida's Surajpur on Wednesday evening. The constable was captured and sent to imprison on Thursday, the police said.
Baits young lady
Subhash Singh, who is posted at the Sales Tax Department in Gautam Budh Nagar, professedly attracted the young lady, who was playing close to her home, and took her to his one-room level and assaulted her. The constable, who has a place with Kaithi town in U.P., lives close to the casualty's home in Surajpur.
"The occurrence occurred around 3 p.m. on Wednesday. The young lady was discovered oblivious on the floor by the neighbors, who had assembled outside his level in the wake of hearing her sobs for help. The charged fled the spot as local people achieved his living arrangement," said Superintendent Of Police(Rural), Noida, Suniti.
The police said two ladies spotted Singh coming back to his level around 4 a.m. on Thursday and endeavored to catch him.
"He assaulted local people however was overwhelmed by a crowd and whipped for two hours. The police were educated and he was captured," Ms. Suniti included.
The police have enrolled a First Information Report against Singh based on an objection recorded by the casualty's mom under Sections 342 (discipline for wrongful imprisonment) and 376 (assault) of the Indian Penal Code, and Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act.
"The young lady was sent to the area healing center for medicinal examination. The specialists affirmed that she was assaulted. The denounced has been sent to imprison," said a senior cop.
The young lady learns at a close-by school in Surajpur and her mom works in a bread shop. Her dad had kicked the bucket long prior.
