Adding to the already vigorous campaign of the saffron party in the much hyped assembly election, different national leaders virtually heaped the tiny state with the promises of a newer and brighter future. In that row, BJP National President Amit Shah addressed two separate rallies in the northern district of Dhalai in last two days. Yesterday, he addressed the gathering in Chawmanu in support of party's candidate for 49 Chawmanu(ST) constituency Shambhulal Chakma, and today he addressed a rally in support of Dhananjoy Tripura nominated by its ally IPFT. In both the rallies Shah promised a better and brighter Tripura with assurances of employment, safety and security, basic amenities of life, upliftment and betterment of tribal people. He reiterated that, people this time would surely oust the present left government from power and would bring BJP for true development for all.
Large numbers of tribal people were present in both the rallies.
