Baby Jaguar F-Pace Model Spied Testing
Jaguar’s crossover and SUV family of vehicles is set to grow with a smaller offering to slot under the F-Pace.
The Jaguar E-Pace has been spied testing, serving as a baby F-Pace model for the British automaker. The company’s first SUV has been well received in the market and it appears the smaller E-Pace will get a lot of its design from its bigger brother. Rumors suggest the Jaguar E-Pace will make its debut sometime this year, possibly in a few months.
Set to compete against other luxury compact crossovers in the segment like the Audi Q3 and BMW X1, the E-Pace will likely launch with a range of 2.0-liter four-cylinder engines from Jaguar’s Ingenium family with both gasoline and diesel variants. A fully-electric version will most likely join the lineup later on, something Jaguar has already hinted at with the I-Pace concept at last year’s L.A. Auto Show.

Inside, the E-Pace will pack plenty of high-tech features including Jaguar’s latest infotainment system. Naturally, the E-Pace will not only have to compete with Audi and BMW in size and quality, but also in infotainment and other interior features.
