Kia made a strong statement at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show.
The Korean automaker debuted the Stinger, a sports sedan bringing 365 horsepower in an aggressive package that is surprisingly stylish. The Stinger draws from the Kia GT Concept that first debuted six years ago and is a rear-wheel-drive sedan that has been fine tuned on the world famous Nurburgring.
The 2018 Kia Stinger will come standard with a four-cylinder engine with an estimated 255 hp and 260 pound-feet of torque, but it’s the 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 that will surely grab your attention with its 376 lb-ft of torque accompanying the 365 hp.

Both engines come with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive will be available as an option. Billed as a luxury sedan as well, the Stinger has plenty of driver assistance and convenience features like driver attention alert, forward collision alert with automatic braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control and rear cross traffic alert. Expect to see the Kia Stinger arriving dealerships before the end of the year.
