Volleyball tourney kicks off in Palacole

Palacole: West Godavari collector K Bhaskar inaugurated State-level MLA Championship Volleyball tournament at BVRMV Municipal High School grounds in Palacole on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the collector called on the youth to take part in sports and games and stay away from vices.
 Palacole MLA Nimmala Ramanaidu said that the State-level MLA Championship Volleyball tourney was the third tournament since its inception in 2015. He said that the Rangavalli competitions would be conducted as a part of Sankranti celebrations.
The competitions will conclude on January 13. The collector earlier hoisted the national flag and the MLA Rama Naidu unfurled the sports flag. Later they lit the sports torch and received the guard of honour from the sportspersons.
The first volleyball match took place between South Central Railway and ASR Club - Bhimavaram.
