Bundelkhand water woes will end in 2 yrs: UP CM

Good news for water parched Bundelkhand region. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has promised that water woes of the region will end in two years.
During his maiden visit to Jhansi on Thursday, the Chief Minister said 6 lane expressway will attract industrialists, giving jobs to lakhs of local youths in the next five years.

The Chief Minister also said that Yash Bharati Award started by the previous regime would be reviewed.

Besides, Lucknow-Agra Expressway project has also come under the scanner of the state government.

The expressway is being scrutinised for an alleged scam, involving farm land being passed as land for residential purposes to get higher compensation.
