India Blues drubs India Reds in Physically Challenged Cricketers Camp

JAMMU, May 19: India Blues defeated India Reds in the Coaching Camp cum trial matches of the Physically Challenged Cricketers of India, being played among the selected 28 players from all over the Country at GGM Science College Hostel Ground, here.
The coaching camp and trial matches are being organized by Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu in collaboration with the Physically Challenged Cricket Association of India under the direction & supervision of Dr SD Singh, IGP Jammu whereas Rajesh Gill Chief Prosecuting Officer & Former Ranji Player is the Coordinator of the event.
in the early morning, the boys had to go through tough conditioning session, coaching and net practice for three and a half hours to prepare the team for “Indo-Afgan Friendship 3-Day/Night Series” to be held at Greater Noida from May 23, 2017.
Later on, in the afternoon session, the probables were divided into two teams namely India Blues and India Reds. And the match of 20 overs between the two teams played, in which India Blues defeated India Reds by 16 runs.
Batting first, India Blues scored 136 runs, losing all their wickets. Vikrant Kinni was the top scorer with 53 runs (8 fours), while Ravi Patil and Jaswant contributed 15 and 12 runs to the total respectively.
From India Reds, Ashok, Sandeep, Sarang, Vijay and Nadeem took 1 wicket each.
In reply, India Reds tried hard but could not chase the target and made 120 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Nadeem Bhat was the top scorer with 31 runs, while Sandeep and Omveer contributed 22 and 21 runs to the total respectively.
From India Blues, Vikrant took 2 wickets, while Syed Shah, Jaswant, Jagmohan, Abdul and Yashpal took 1 wicket each.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain, Saleem Ur Rehman, Madan Mohan and Sandeep Manchanda.
