Mangaluru, Nov 12: Chief minister Siddaramaiah on Sunday November 12 hit out at BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa and said that while there are a number of FIRs against Yeddyurappa, there is not a single one against him.

He was speaking to reporters after landing at Mangaluru International Airport on Sunday evening en route Beltangady where is scheduled to attend a private function.

When asked to respond to Yeddyurappa's statement that he would reveal documents against Siddaramaiah during the legislative session in Belagavi, Siddaramaiah said, "What about Yeddyurappa's offences? There are a number of FIRs registered against him. Is there any FIR against me? He has even gone to jail. What will he say?"

Asked about Yeddyurappa's claim 30 cases against the CM are pending with the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Siddaramaiah said, "There is no evidence for this claim. These are all false allegations. BJP has no issue to fight over. There are no corruption charges against our government nor any scams. Our government is free from scandals."

He also said that contrary to the BJP's claim, both Lokayukta and the ACB are functioning in the state, and asserted that ACB was not established to undermine the Lokayukta.

On BJP's charges that the state government is supporting outfits like PFI and others, he said, "No, we are not supporting any communal organisation. We oppose them. We strongly oppose communal organisations, no matter which community or religion they belong to.

District in-charge minister Ramanath Rai, MLA Abhaychandra Jain and other Congress leaders welcomed the CM at the airport.
