Doctors strike: Deadlock continues, hospitals wear deserted look
Bhilwara/ Chittorgarh (Rajasthan) Nov 12 (ANI): Thousands of in-service doctors have been on strike in various parts of the state since Monday. Latest visuals from Shree Sanwaliyaji Government Hospital in Chittorgarh and Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Bhilwara show vacant chambers in absence of doctors. The 33 long-pending demands by the doctors of the state include the formation of a separate cadre for in-service doctors, Rs 10,000 grade pay benefit for doctors, and running government health centres in a single shift, among others. Despite the state government’s orders to doctors on strike to return to their duties, hundreds of doctors are still off duty.
