'A cruel joke'
After protests from students of the student law council over lack of time between the fourth list of LLM (Law) admissions and examinations, the Mumbai University announced a post- ponment in examination dates by days to January 22. This, however, has not satisfied the student law council, who feels that the University is taking the mickey of them and that the decision does not do anyone any good.
"After immense discussions and requests, the university has failed in its obligations and is played with our feelings by postponing the papers for just a mere five days. I condemn this and will boycott my exam," said Sachin Pawar, President, Student Law Council. "I feel that this is done on purpose by the univerisity officers to malign the image and repute of the varsity. Strict action should be taken on them," he added, branding the move a "cruel joke."
