Prince Harry and Meghan Markle confirmed their engagement last year, with the couple set to wed on May 19th at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

With the nuptials fast approaching, speculation is building around every aspect of the royal wedding day, from Meghan Markle’s wedding dress designer to who will be giving speeches at the reception.

Most recent focus however has centred around the guest list, with a host of famous faces expected to be in attendance.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s ceremony boasted a star-studded guest list, from Victoria and David Beckham to Ellie Goulding. But with 33-year-old Harry running in celebrity circles and Meghan being a former Hollywood actress, their wedding guest list is set to be even more impressive. Even Barack and Michelle Obama are expected to receive a royal invite.

While there are no confirmed celebrity guests known yet, one potential just dropped a huge hint.

Elton John. Rex.

70-year-old singer and close friend of Princess Diana, Elton John, set rumours alight on Friday when he cancelled his plans over the May wedding weekend.

That’s right. Elton John rescheduled two performances of his Las Vegas show, originally set for 18-19 May, due to ‘a scheduling conflict.’

Could this mean we’ll be seeing Elton in the Windsor Castle pews? There are even rumours that he might be performing.

If there’s one thing for sure, it looks like this is going to be the wedding of the year.
