Salt Marsh United look to continue momentum

DAVIS PEN, Trelawny — Former champions Salt Marsh United will seek to maintain their late momentum in the Trelawny Football Association's Grandeur Transportation Services/Monymusk Rum Major League when they host Rio Bueno in a Zone One return-round game at Davis Pen today, set to start at 3:30 pm.

Salt Marsh United lost their first four games of the season but won their last two and will be seeking to avenge yet another first-round loss today, after going down 4-6 in a high-scoring game in the first meeting with Rio Bueno.

Also today, Zone One leaders and mid-season champions Falmouth United will take on Kinloss FC at Elleston Wakeland as they hope to atone for the only blemish on their record, while second-placed Holland United host Friendship FC at William Knibb Memorial.

Falmouth United lead with 16 points, double that of second-placed Holland United, but were held 1-1 in the first round away to Kinloss FC ,who are in fourth place on six points.
