Realme 1 with 6-inch FHD+ display and Helio P60 launched for Rs xxx

Earlier this month, OPPO introduced a new online-exclusive smartphone brand called Realme in partnership with Amazon India. Today, the newly formed brand has launched its first smartphone called the Realme 1. The handset arrives as one of the most affordable Android smartphones with 6GB of RAM.
The Realme 1 flaunts a 6-inch full HD+ display and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 processor. The handset is being offered by the company in three RAM/storage variants, i.e. 3GB RAM/32GB storage, 4GB RAM/64GB storage, and 6GB RAM/128GB storage. The onboard storage is further expandable by inserting a microSD card. The camera department includes a 13-megapixel primary autofocus shooter with an LED flash and an 8MP secondary snapper for selfies and video calling. Software-wise, the handset boots ColorOS 5, which is based on Android Oreo. The handset doesn’t feature a fingerprint sensor but comes with facial unlock feature instead.
As for the pricing, the 3GB RAM variant of the Realme 1 has been priced by the company at Rs 8,990, while the 4GB RAM variant will be available for Rs 10,990. The 6GB RAM variant will be available for grabs at Rs 13,990. The 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM models of the handset come in Black Diamond as well as Red colour variants but the 3GB RAM variant will be made available in Silver colour. The 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants of the phone will go on sale exclusively on Amazon India starting noon on May 25th while the availability for the 3GB RAM variant will be announced a month later. The company has also announced the launch of its ‘real service 360 degree care’, which covers both pre-sale and post-sale service from the company.
