Suzuki GSX-R300 Patent Leaked Ahead of Global Debut
Patent images for the Suzuki GSX-R300, latest sportsbike from the brand in the sub-500 cc category has been leaked online giving us a preview of the upcoming faired bike. Suzuki GSX-R300 could be unveiled at the next edition of EICMA and the brand could also unveil an all-new naked motorcycle based on the faired model. Considering the fact that India is experiencing growing demands for 250-300 cc sportsbikes, Suzuki could bring the new model here.
Suzuki already has the GSX250R in its global portfolio, but the rival brand have more powerful and appealing models in the same segment that include Yamaha YZF R3, Honda CBR 250RR, KTM RC390 etc. In that case, Suzuki GSX-R300 could play key role to help the Japanese brand to post a strong sales figure in the category.

Speaking about the upcoming Suzuki GSX-R300, this sportsbike will come sporting a sharp and sculpted look. It will draw inspiration from the bigger sportsbikes in the brand’s portfolio. The bike will be built on a tubular frame, similar to trellis frame. There will be a sculpted large fuel tank and ergonomically designed rider seat. Suspension set up will include USD front forks and rear monoshock absorber. For braking duty, there would be single disc brake at front and rear, as suggested by the patent image.
There will be a parallel-twin engine generating energy for the bike. This engine could be able to churn out around 40 bhp of peak power that will make it capable of competing with KTM RC 390, Yamaha R3 and Honda CBR 250RR.
