Physicians Formula Creates A Coalition Of Leading Physicians Focused On Skin Health
CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif: When it comes to hypoallergenic and sensitive beauty formulas, Physicians Formula has been an innovative leader for over 80 years.
Founded in 1937 by a California-based allergist, Dr. Frank Crandall, Physicians Formula was the first to develop a hypoallergenic lipstick followed by nearly a century of continued first-to-market healthy beauty products.
Those trustworthy formulas, in combination with exotic ingredients and a trend-focused product assortment, are what consumers look to from the brand. Now, that leadership in healthy makeup is what has inspired the brand to form the Physicians Coalition, a trio of top California-based doctors who specialize in various skin-health related practices. Comprised of an allergist, a dermatologist, and a plastic surgeon, the Coalition will work closely with the brand to share advancements in cosmetic technologies, news about the latest ingredients, and feedback from their practices that can be woven into product innovations and insight.
"We were founded by a physician and want to stay true to our roots by continuing to innovate with doctor-curated, safe-for-sensitive-skin formulas. We are committed to keeping our promise to maintain our consumers' trust by delivering the healthiest and most efficacious beauty innovations - vetted, crafted, tested, and validated by top physicians in skin health," said Alice Chen, VP of Marketing for Physicians Formula. "We are thrilled to introduce our Physicians Coalition, an altruistic trio of distinguished physicians who are passionate about public health. We will work closely with them on product development, R&D, and consumer and media relations."
