Our B’town celebrities dressed up looking their very best for Bappa. They dug into their most amazing ethnic wear and dolled up looking their very best. From Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s Ganpati celebration’s to the annual Ganpati festivities at Salman Khan’s house, or our star’s getting him at their own abodes, our celebrities were on top of their game. Listed below are some interesting looks that we saw our divas sport on the first day of the Ganesh Utsav.

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor

Both Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor not just set some major sister goals but fashion goals as well. With the festivities up and about in full swing, it was a sight to see the Kapoor girls twin in sunshine yellow. Kapoor Khan opted for a bright yellow gold Raw Mango gharara which featured heavy paisley and leaf motifs all over it. The outfit was styled with a contrasting rani pink dupatta, golden Fizzy Goblet juttis, Amrapali jewels and a golden matching potli from The Pink Potli. Heavy smokey eyes with a soft pink lip, hair tied in a sleek bun and maroon sindoor completed this absolutely gorgeous look out.

Karisma Kapoor, on the other hand, looked her radiating best in a sunshine yellow custom made outfit by Manish Malhotra. Her look included a full sleeves short kurta with tapered pants featuring heavy floral embroidery work on it in white. Matching golden juttis with heavy chandbalis and a no make up makeup look rounded off this breathtakingly beautiful look.

Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif was papped as she arrived to attend Ganesh Chaturthi festivities at Arpita Khan’s house. Katrina looked pretty in a stark red Tarun Tahiliani number. Her ethnic wear featured a long kurti with heavy embellishment work around the shoulders paired with dhoti pants. Silver accessories and a black bindi finished off her look.

Shraddha Kapoor

The beautiful Shraddha Kapoor looked simple yet sweet in a minimal indigo blue printed kurta. She styled her look with golden jhumkis and bangles, a black bindi and hair roughly tied up. For us, it was a fresh change as we got to see the real Shraddha who is like any one of us.

Athiya Shetty

Athiya Shetty also was in the festive mood as she attended Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. The actress looked gorgeous in a pistachio green floor length anarkali by Rahul Mishra. The ensemble included heavy multi-coloured embroidery and a matching sheer dupatta. Simple hair and makeup with heavy chandbalis rounded off her ethereal look.

Gauri Khan

Gauri Khan to walked in hand-in-hand with husband Shah Rukh Khan to the Ambani Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations looking absolutely pristine. Gauri opted for a pastel peach outfit with heavy embroidery on it in white by Manish Malhotra. Silver heels with minimal makeup and open blow dried hair rounded off her look.

Shilpa Shetty Kundra

Shilpa Shetty Kundra looked super gorgeous as she welcomed Bappa home. Shilpa donned a purple and cream. Golden jhumkis with a small bindi, nath, a fresh face of makeup and open beach wavy hair rounded her look out.

Malaika Arora

We are absolutely in love with Malaika Arora’s ethnic attire. Malaika donned a pastel green gharara with heavy silver print work on it by Simar Dugal. We love the fact that she let her outfit do all the talking and stuck to minimal silver oxidized jewellery.

Madhuri Dixit Nene

The stunning Madhuri Dixit Nene also attended the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s abode. She looked ravishing in an electric blue and golden saree by Anita Dongre. She styled her outfit with silver chandbalis a black bindi and minimal makeup.

Kajol

A powerhouse of talent Kajol too was in the festive spirit. The actress looked pretty in a pastel kurta and palazzo set with minimal floral embroidery. Kajol styled her look with pearl jhumkis, silver flats and red lips.
