Realme to improve user experience
Hyderabad: Realme, an emerging smartphone brand that is aiming at youth is looking at using new technologies to improve user experience. The company will use artificial intelligence to differentiate itself from other brands.
The company was officially established in May this year by its founder Sky Li, together with Madhav Sheth. It has established over 500 service centres so far to ensure access.
Talking to Telangana Today, Madhav Sheth, CEO, Realme, said, “We are focusing on user needs and present our products with both performance and trendy design in the broad context of e-commerce. We are making all our products in India at Noida unit which has a capacity to make 60-80 million handsets a year. It’s a ‘Made in India’ brand with few components and parts imported.”
He added, “Artificial Intelligence helps in making people’s lives easier. We will be continuously using technology to enhance our features. We are in a dynamic and evolving market. We will be covering all the price points what the customers are looking for and yet give them good technology.”
Gameloft has tied up with Realme to offer its games on its phones. Gameloft Software country manager India Nitin Goel said, “Gaming is something which is immersive in terms of experience. Mobile phones that are being introduced in the market such as Realme 2 Pro are going to enable users to use the device for entertainment and gaming is going to be a key component of that. This is going to make a major impact on gaming consumption.
Big Billion Days
Realme will be opening sales for its recently launched Realme 2 Pro and Realme C1, on October 11, exclusively on Flipkart during the Big Billion Days. Realme 2 with Diamond Blue edition will be available for sale during that period on Flipkart.
Realme comes with a notch full display, dual camera and a 6.2” plus screen across all products in mid-range and budget segments. The company is aiming to sell over 1 million units in the four days of the Big Billion Days sale on Flipkart.
Realme C1, the new entry-level smartphone, priced at Rs 6,999 will be exclusively available on Flipkart from October 11, 2018 at 12 noon onwards. The smartphone with a 4230mAh battery and Snapdragon 450 Octa-Core Processor supports a 6.2-inch super large screen and offers the first notch full screen in its price segment.
Realme 2 will have its Diamond Blue edition on sale at 00:00 Hours (October 10 midnight) on October 11. It is the first full notch screen device under the sub 10K category in India with features such as AI dual camera and 4230mah battery. With the 10 per cent discount, buyers can get it at a starting price of Rs 8,091.
Realme 2 Pro carries a Snapdragon 660 AIE processor and comes in three variants- 4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM at Rs 13,990, 6GB RAM + 64 GB ROM at Rs 15,990 and 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM at Rs 17,990. Realme 2 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch Dewdrop Full Screen and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8 per cent in its segment. It will be available in three colours- Blue Ocean, Black Sea and Ice Lake.
