Free medical camp held in Tamenglong
TAMENGLONG | Oct 10 : State National Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) Society, Manipur organised a ‘Public Health Outreach’ activity (free health camp) under the national AYUSH mission at District Hospital, Tamenglong.
More than 283 hundreds patients availed the first ever free medical camp of AYUSH conducted in Tamenglong district.
The event witnessed the attendance of various officials from AYUSH department including its additional director, Dr. M Shyamjai Singh; programme manager, S. Marcus Singh; finance manager, L. Dipen Singh and officer coordinator, S. Tondang along with the team of six doctors.
Speaking to media persons, Dr. M Shyamjai Singh stated that the public health outreach activity was conducted with the objective of giving full awareness about AYUSH Manipur and to treat serious illnesses or diseases.
He further expressed his gratitude and thanks to CMO, Tamenglong, Dr Chambo Gonmei and medical superintendent, Dr Guidiathiu Kamei for their assistance in the health camp.
