Another made up controversy, says Kuldeep Yadav clarifying his statement on MS Dhoni
Kuldeep Yadav has cleared the air surrounding the statement he had earlier made on MS Dhoni and even stated that it is another made up controversy. Kuldeep was earlier quoted as saying that Dhoni’s advice from behind the stumps go wrong a lot of times but that it can’t be told to him.
Kuldeep Yadav had debuted for India in 2017 and since then, he has scalped 87 wickets in 44 ODIs and 35 wickets in 18 T20Is. Wicket-keeper MS Dhoni is known to have a sharp understanding of the game and his advice from behind the stumps greatly help the leg-spinner with respect to his bowling.
However, a news agency, on Tuesday, had quoted Kuldeep Yadav saying, "There are a lot of times he (MS Dhoni) goes wrong but then you can't say that to him.”
The leg spinner received a lot of flak on social media for his comments against the former India skipper. Nevertheless, he has cleared the air surrounding the statements and has even termed it as fake news.
"Here we go for another made up controversy from our media who loves to make tangy rumours for no reason. Just want to throw some light on the issue that has been proliferated by some people, that the news is total false. I didn't give any inappropriate statement about anyone. Much respect (to) Mahi bhai,” Kuldeep posted a story on his official Instagram account.
