Prince Louis borrowed an outfit from Prince Harry for Trooping the Colour
Saturday saw the royal family get together to celebrate the Queen’s birthday, for the Trooping the Colour celebrations. And as with previous years, when it came to the balcony shot, the kids stole the show.
Last year, it was Prince George and Princess Charlotte larking about, but this year, it was all about how adorable Prince Louis and his little royal wave were.
Another cute detail royal fans noticed was that he was wearing something that once belonged to his uncle, Prince Harry.
The white shirt with blue embroidery was actually first seen at the same event, just 33 years prior. At the time, Harry was almost two years old, just a little bit older then Prince Louis now – he celebrated his first birthday in April.
But before that, the shirt was actually worn by non other Prince William. He wore it in 1984 on a summer holiday trip with his parents.
This isn’t the first time Kate has chosen to recycle baby clothes, as Prince George has also previously worn outfits that belonged to his father.
We can’t wait to see baby Archie wearing these cute heirlooms too.
