Our planet is suffering from the excessive pollution and uncontrolled dwindling of resources and it is high time that we seriously respond to the grave situation. With the advent of advanced modern-day techniques like rainwater harvesting, organic farming, organic waste management, bio-pesticides and more such groundbreaking concepts. It is great to see that many educational institutions in India are coming forward with a motivational initiative to spread awareness regarding the negative impact on our environment and how we can all contribute to restricting it further. We certainly should follow the example of this junior college in Assam that believes in teaching the students how to make use of the present-day farming methods.
