Patton Oswalt to bring his hangdog self to Bushnell
You know his sound — he’s been the voice of Remy in “Ratatouille,” Pinky Penguin on “Bojack Horseman” and the narrator of “The Goldbergs.”
You know his face, his hangdog, rumple look — he’s Principal Durbin on “AP Bio,” Penn Eppner on Hulu’s “Veronica Mars” reboot and “Max (TV’s Son of TV’s Frank)” on “Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Return.”
Now explore Patton Oswalt’s incisive, freewheeling brain. A hard-working stand-up comic since the late 1980s, he continues to tour, telling stories and jokes and interacting with live audiences. Topics can include atheism, consumerism and war, but also superheroes; Oswalt has scripted several comic books.
Patton Oswalt appears at 7:30 p.m. July 23 at The Bushnell, 166 Capitol Ave., Hartford. Tickets are $48 to $70. 860-987-5900 and bushnell.org.
