New Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon spotted at a dealership
Bajaj’s upcoming 125cc offering, the Pulsar 125 Neon, has been spotted at a dealership in India. As we had revealed in our exclusive report, the motorcycle will be priced at Rs 66,586 (ex-showroom, Mumbai) and will become the most affordable product in the Pulsar line-up.
As revealed in the video shot at a dealership, the motorcycle looks identical to its 150cc sibling, the Pulsar 150 Neon. It features conventional headlamp with position lamps, clip-on hanmi-digital instrument cluster, single-piece seat and a single-unit grab rail. The company will be introducing two Neon-style colour options. With matte black being the base colour, it will come with options of blue and grey accents.
The Pulsar 125 is reportedly powered by a 125cc, air-cooled, carbureted mill which churns out 13bhp of power and 11.4Nm of torque. For soaking bumps, the motorcycle comes equipped with telescopic forks at the front and gas-charged dual shock absorbers at the rear. Braking hardware consists of a disc up front and a drum at the rear. Unlike its 150cc counterpart which gets a single-channel ABS, the Pulsar 125 will be offered with mechanical CBS (combined braking system) in order to keep the cost in check.
In terms of competition, the Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon will go up against the 125cc premium commuters including the Hero Glamour FI and the Honda CB Shine SP.
