Olivia Wilde, the actress-turned-director had a ball with her directorial debut Booksmart. Directing a feature can be daunting for anyone, but Olivia brought years of learning experience acquired from directors such as Martin Scorcese, Ron Howard, and Reed Morano. Wilde is someone who stays from the 'auteur' myth and loves the collaborative creative process, and the results speak for themselves wit her successful coming-of-age high-school comedy.

The House actress is returning behind the camera and has reportedly said to be starring, producing, and directing Don't Worry Darling which she will co-produce with her Booksmart scribe Katie Silberman, and IT producers Roy Lee and Miri Yoon via Vertigo Entertainment.

While there's not a lot of solid information around, we do know that the story unfolds around a 1950s housewife whose reality begins to crack and she discovers something sinister underneath. Katie Silberman, teaming up siblings Shane and Carey Van Dyke, will be giving the script another crack.

In what was turning out to be an intense bidding war, Olivia has chosen New Line to be the nurturer of her next project. Booksmart directed by Olivia Wilde holds a 97% Rotten Tomatoes rating currently and has amassed $25 Million at Box-Office. As an actor, Olivia will be next seen in Clint Eastwood's The Ballad of Richard Jewell which is currently in production.
