Sircilla stands first in 30-day action plan implementation: KT Rama Rao
Sircilla: Industries and IT Minister and TRS working president KT Rama Rao said that Sircilla district stood in first place in the implementation of the 30-day village action plan, at a review meeting in Sircilla on Wednesday.
He appreciated all the sarpanches, public representatives, district administration, workers and staff for their efforts in keeping the district top in the list. He offered Rs 4 lakh cheque as insurance gift to 1,200 workers and staff, who were involved in the successful implementation of the action plan.
During the review meeting, KTR instructed the officials to draft an action plan to plant seedlings on the either sides of Sircilla Maneru Dam. Directing that plantation also need to be taken up near ponds and canals, he demanded the officials to work according to the action plan to increase sanitation and greenery in villages.
On the occasion of completing 99 percent of works of Mission Bhagiratha, he requested the officials to create awareness regarding this mission among the people to prefer only Bhagiratha purified drinking water rather than going for other drinking water. He requested the officials to drink the water from Mission Bhagiratha themselves before the public in meetings and programmes to be conducted in future.
Minister KTR also requested the officials to explain about the ill effects of drinking mineral water and also from mineral water plants.
