Cronulla Sharks honour Fine Kula with special Nines jersey
This is the moment that shows what makes footy clubs so special.
It’s a rare glimpse inside the world and culture of a unique workplace where mateship, spirit and bonds are everything.
A tearful Sharks winger Ronaldo Mulitalo needed to be consoled by his boss, head coach John Morris on Tuesday - showing the type of emotion NRL fans rarely see.

The Daily Telegraph photographer Brett Costello captured this endearing image of Mulitalo at Shark Park after he’d received a special tribute jersey in front of his teammates, that Cronulla will wear at this weekend’s NRL Nines in Perth.
Stamped across the back of the jersey are the words #FightForFine.
Fine Kula, is the young Sharks forward battling brain cancer - and Mulitalo, his closest mate, was handed the front-forward number of 10 by Morris, to wear at the Nines.
“I knew he’d be emotional when I gave it to him,” Morris said.
“He's been outstanding through all this, as a friend, he's everything I would want in a mate.
“Obviously the boys are very upset, but they’ve rallied around Fine.
“The campaign ‘FightForFine’ sums it up, we're here with him every step of the way and hopefully we can do our bit to help his recovery and get him back to full health.”
As a part of the Sharks #FightForFine, the players match-worn jerseys from the NRL Nines will be personally signed and auctioned, while a GoFundMe page has also been set up, with the proceeds of both initiatives going to the Kula family.
