Javed Akhtar, furious at PM Modi, says- "Fascist people do not have any horns on their heads"
Recently, Bollywood's famous screenwriter and writer Javed Akhtar has once again criticized the Modi government, which he has always been doing. He has recently launched a sharp attack on PM Modi once again. He made his presence felt with filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt in an interview with Al Jazeera. In the interview, he has called PM Modi a fascist. During this time Javed was asked, 'Is Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi a fascist?' Talking on this, Javed said that 'of course he is. I mean that the fascist people do not have horns on their heads. Fascism is an idea.
An idea in which people consider themselves superior to any community and consider the people of that other community to be the root of all their problems. When you start hating people of a particular community, you become fascist.' Further when Mahesh Bhatt was asked, 'Is the country of India really Islamophobic as is being said by Muslims all over the world?' So Mahesh Bhatt said that 'I think Islamophobia has intensified after the 9/11 attacks. With this, he said that I think this phobia has also been created somewhere because it is not that any ordinary person in the country is so afraid of Muslims. We are living together for a long time. I mean to say that that kind of fear is being crafted, constant efforts are being made to instill fear among the people about Muslims. Every day, this fear is being spread by certain channels of media and hating Muslims is the lifeline of BJP.
There are many experts in India who believe that India is making its move towards becoming a fascist state. Mahesh Bhatt and Javed Akhtar are already protesting with many Bollywood stars against CAA-NRC.
