During a cricket event yesterday, when a reporter asked Sanjay Dutt about him doing Abhishek Varman's film with Madhuri Dixit, he got upset and just walked away. Watch the video here.

Sanjay Dutt, who made his comeback with Bhoomi in 2017, was reportedly approached for Abhishek Varman’s next. He was roped in to play the male lead opposite the matinee queen of the 90s, Madhuri Dixit. However, the actor has reportedly opted out of the project because of her.

For those who are not aware, Sanjay and Madhuri were rumoured to be in a relationship, which was the talk of the town way back in the 90s. But as soon as Dutt was arrested in 1993 Bombay blasts, Madhuri started to maintain her distance, and as they say, rest is history.

During a cricket event yesterday, when a reporter asked the actor about him doing Varman's film with Madhuri, he got upset and just walked away.

Recently, a video from Goa Fest 2017 had gone viral where Sanjay Dutt was asked in an interview which actress he would like to marry if given an opportunity. He promptly replied, ''Anybody knows Maanayata Dutt? Nobody knows? But...I would like to marry Madhuri Dixit.''

In the same interview later, Sanjay Dutt cleared the air saying his reply of wanting to marry Madhuri Dixit was said in jest.

Meanwhile, Sanjay recently finished the shooting of Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3. He is now working on the film Torbaaz. About his films, a source told a leading daily, "Sanju is doing another comedy film and he started shooting for it right after he finished his schedule for Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3. He is enjoying this new phase and that’s probably the reason why is he working non-stop now.

Madhuri, on the other hand, will soon start filming Total Dhamaal with Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgn.

She talked to a leading daily about her films and had said, “I didn’t take up too much work earlier because my kids were young. My priority was my family then. It still is, but since my kids have grown up now, I decided to do more work."
