First Brazilian Beauty Taynara Conti Was Disappointed After WWE Release
Taynara Conti was amongst those unfortunate names in mid-April who were released from the WWE amid the coronavirus pandemic. The company decided to have a budget cut owing to the deteriorated situation and still be on the side where they can gain some profit. But as a result, a bright and beautiful talent like Taynara Conti had to leave the brand.
While speaking in an interview with Ring The Belle Taynara Conti revealed that it was pretty unexpected that she had to leave a company like that. A couple of months ago, the first Brazilian talent to ever sign with the WWE wanted to get released from the WWE, herself as the creative team was not utilizing her talent, well. At that point, they informed her to retain but the decision changed just within a few days,
For those who don’t know, Taynara Conti signed with WWE by the end of 2016 and was assigned to the Performance Center to train and become a better athlete. She was special to be a talent from Brazil for the first time in the history of the company who were allowed to compete in both the versions Mae Young Classic on the WWE Network. Moving on, WWE inserted her into the NXT roster didn’t find much success and rather became a jobber that started a difference of opinion between her and the officials.
During this interview, Taynara Conti detailed in those problems while being with the WWE. She was unhappy about being passed over for opportunities. She mentioned that she never wanted to receive title shots or TakeOver matches.
The only thing she wanted just to wrestle and learn. But WWE kept bringing in women with experience and thus an outsider from pro-wrestling like Taynara Conti was getting ignored.
During her time in WWE, Taynara Conti showed how proud she was of her Brazillian roots. She represented the country during her Mae Young Classic runs by often posing with the Brazilian flag. She also wore in-ring gear matching with the Brazilian pendant color of Green and Yellow. She plans on doing so no matter what she does next, in her career.
