IAF pilot accuses Gunjan Saxena of spreading lies, warns Jahnavi 'not to do such a film again'
Mumbai. The Bollywood film 'Gunjan Saxena - The Kargil Girl' continues to be the subject of constant discussion. The film is being accused one after another. The film has been mired in controversies due to these allegations. It has been alleged earlier that an attempt has been made to tarnish the image of the Air Force as being false. Complaints have also been made to the censor board. Wing Commander Namrita Chandi, who recently served with Gunjan Saxena in the Indian Air Force, has alleged that many of the things shown in the film are lies.
Namrita has questioned the film through an article. He wrote, 'I myself have also worked as a helicopter pilot and I have never faced such abuse as shown in the film. In fact, men in uniform are true gentlemen and professionals. ' I have trained with Gunjan Saxena and have seen each other in the worst of circumstances.
Namrita Chandi blamed Karan Johar's Dharma Production and its writers. He agrees that in the beginning, 'there were problems of not having a room or a women's toilet but at no point did he feel uncomfortable. Some of his officers 'brothers used to patrol outside while changing clothes.'
Namrita has accused the filmmakers of lying. He wrote, 'Mr. Vidya Rajan was the first female pilot to fly from Kargil, not Gunjan. I firmly believe that Mr. Vidya has no complaints about this credit.
Namrata quotes herself, writing, 'I myself am the first woman officer. Which flew on the international border with Pakistan in 1996. I was confident of every officer who was sitting with me in the crew room. I was the first female pilot to be stationed in Leh and fly Cheetah helicopters at Siachen Glacier. ' Namrata wrote a message to Janhvi Kapoor, "Never do a film like this again if you are a proud Indian woman."
