Bhopal. The Shivraj government of Madhya Pradesh has started changing the decisions of the Congress's Kamal Nath government. Under which, the amount given under the Kanyadaan Scheme on marriage of girls in the state has been changed. As soon as the Congress came to power, the Congress Kamal Nath government had increased the amount of Kanyadaan Yojana from 28 thousand to 51 thousand. Changing this decision of the Kamal Nath government, the Shivraj government has said to give only 28 thousand rupees like its previous government. Department of Social Justice and Disabled Welfare Minister Prem Singh Patel has said that the amount of the scheme will be reduced, the amount fixed at the time of the previous Shivraj government will be given in the scheme.
The Congress Kamal Nath government had increased the amount received under the Chief Minister's Kanya Vivah-Nikah scheme from 28 thousand rupees to 51 thousand rupees as soon as it came to power to fulfill its election promise. But now the Shivraj government has reversed this decision as soon as it comes to power, after which now an amount of 28 thousand will be given. Of this amount, 3 thousand rupees (per girl's value), the cost of material is 5 thousand and the remaining amount of 20 thousand rupees is deposited in the savings bank account of the girl to the authorized bodies for organizing the mass marriage program.
