Where are the next international flights headed? These 13 countries are on the list
There will be no one day that international air travel will magically unlock—that much we know for sure. But after months of waiting, it’s now started opening up. As of this week, India has air travel bubbles with seven countries. Indians can now fly largely unrestricted to the US, UK, Canada, France, Germany and the UAE, with flights to the Maldives set to launch any time soon.
Now, India’s Minister for Civil Aviation has announced that India is in talks with 13 more countries to allow bilateral flights.
- New Zealand
- South Korea
In addition, India has proposed a similar arrangement to Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal and Bhutan, the minister has announced.
Of course, these arrangements are still being negotiated and who gets on the flight may still be subject to health measures mandated by each of these countries. But it may be time to dust off that strolley.
