Sports Desk: Great wicketkeeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni said goodbye to international cricket on August 15 at 7.29 pm, putting a stop to the speculation of retirement. After this, everyone shared memories with Dhoni and also expressed his opinion on his retirement. Now Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has said that Dhoni could play T20 World Cup but due to Corona virus he had to retire under compulsion.
Chahal said during a conversation with a newspaper, the news of Dhoni's retirement was shocking. He said, I think the corona virus played a big role in this decision, otherwise he would have played T20 World Cup. The 30-year-old Haryana player said, "I still want him to play."
Chahal said, It is because of Dhoni that I and Kuldeep Yadav have succeeded. We have helped them a lot by being behind the wicket. If Dhoni is behind the wicket then 50 percent of my work is completed. Be aware that not only Chahal but millions of fans wanted Dhoni to play the upcoming T20 World Cup. This is not the first time that Chahal has credited Dhoni for his success, he has said this many times.
